Carson-Newman's Omicron Delta Kappa Inducts New Members

Carson-Newman University's Omicron Delta Kappa inducted its newest members to the national leadership society. Bristol's Sabrina Morris, a junior, was elected president following the induction ceremony.

Local inductees include: Ashley Sullivan, a senior theatre and human services major from Athens;

Since its founding in 1914 at Washington and Lee University, Omicron Delta Kappa has emphasized superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character for undergraduate students. The first college honor society of a national scope to honor meritorious leadership, extracurricular service and general campus leadership, the organization seeks to develop holistic leaders on campuses and throughout society. Carson-Newman's chapter is co-advised by Dr. Laura Wadlington, chair of the University's Psychology Department, and Nenette Measels, director of campus ministries.

Carson-Newman University is a private, Christian liberal arts institution. Founded in 1851, Carson-Newman is located in Jefferson City, Tennessee, among the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
